Congratulations to Walton A for winning Division One. Congratulations to Denby Dale for a great entry into the League and coming top of Division 2

Walton A are the overall winners of the first division with 17 points from 10 matches. Thornhill are the winners of the second division with 17 points from 9 matches. Congratulations to both teams. This season we managed to get all the fixtures completed. So well done to all our clubs and players.

Wakefield A and West Yorkshire A both scored 14 points to share the top position at the end of the season. After a count back of sets, played and won by both teams, Wakefield A were ahead and so once again they are the champions of the first division. Congratulations to them.
In the second division West Yorkshire B were top with 17 points. So Congratulations to West Yorkshire also. Well done to all the other teams who managed to fulfil their fixtures and keep the tennis going in the Wakefield league.

Mirfield Tennis Club are hosting an end of season fun tournament on Sunday 27th July. Registration time between 12-30 and 1-00 with play to start at 1-30pm. The format will be American Style so you will be swapping partners as you go along. Entry is £5 per mixed pair. There will be a BBQ and a bar with contributions requested for any drinks consumed.
