We are looking to organise an annual Winter Tennis Break. This could be in the UK or at an overseas tennis camp such as in Spain or Portugal. It will be an opportunity to meet other tennis players from the Wakefield area, improve your game, and play some enjoyable tennis.

In order to gauge the level of interest, and to keep the costs to an absolute minimum, we have chosen the UK for our first trip, and the venue is The Manor House Hotel in Okehampton, near Exeter. The site is about 300 miles from Wakefield, and the facilities are superb with 4 indoor carpet courts, and a wealth of other activities to keep us entertained when a break from tennis is needed. It is also the perfect location to bring non-tennis playing partners who will be spoilt for choice with the range of sports and crafts that are available. The full board cost for the week (5 nights including all tennis and other activities) will be approximately £264 per adult, and could be less depending upon numbers. This is based upon two people sharing a twin/double room. There is a single supplement of 10%.

The week will include coaching from a LTA Performance Tennis Coach, tournaments, and plenty of opportunities for social tennis throughout the day and evening if required.
